Malevolent or incompetent design
Just look around you. See the amazing creation. Isn't it incredible? One just has to look to know that there is a God and that what we have today has been designed.
Really?
What if you were living in the middle of the desert, starving to death with no clean water to drink. Would you marvel at God's creation around you? What if you're in the middle of the ocean surrounded by only salt water? What about the huge portions of the planet covered in rock and/or ice. Would you be so amazed by creation then?
Really, only around 2% of the world is suitable for human habitation. And if the doomsday predictions are correct, that is lessening all the time with the wear and tear on the ozone. And this is proof of creation?
But let's look at more than just that. Look at all the horrible creatures that inhabit the planet. Viruses, venomous creatures, parasites, carnivorous animals that enjoy tearing other animals apart. There are all manner of destructive, nasty, disease ridden beasties that inhabit the earth. Is that something to praise God for? Is that something to marvel at and say, "wow, God really does exist!"? Can you seriously blame HUMANS for all this?
Or should we only ever look at the things that we admire? Conveniently overlook the horrible stuff?
Come on, what we have here isn't intelligent design. If anything it's Incompetent or even Malevolent Design.
