Seeing that many Ex-Christians had similar experiences to me

In 2006, I decided I wanted to hear more than just the biased Christian side of things, so I started visiting a website for Ex-Christians. I was finding that many of these Ex-Christians were like me, people who had been in it from birth and had begun to have similar doubts. In fact, many of these people were startlingly similar and they all had perfectly valid reasons why they were no longer Christians.

None of them hated God or wanted to sin. None of them had chosen to reject Jesus. They had come to rational and logical conclusions that Jesus was not real and that their beliefs were unfounded. Many had gone through painful times and struggled with their loss of faith. They were not evil and they were not worshipping Satan.

It was certainly an eye opener, because as usual any person who was said to have rejected Jesus was considered by Christians to be a horrible person. Just like all those atheists and witches.
