The Bible contains unfulfilled prophecies

I’m not going to go through all the various prophecies and try to debunk them.  I don’t need to because this is about reasons why I don’t believe and as far as I’m concerned many of them are unfulfilled and remain unfulfilled. Some are passed their use-by date like Jesus’s return.

Check out my tongue-n-cheek tale:

The Boy who Cried “Jesus is coming”

There are multiple prophecies in the bible that are either mundane and predicting the inevitable, or so vague they could be attributed to anything.  Some bible prophecy fulfilments could even be retrofits, ie prophecies added or edited to make them look as though future events fulfilled them. Stories in the bible may have even been written so that they look like fulfilled prophecies. We just don’t know for sure. And let’s not forget that people actively work to fulfil bible prophecies!

I could get into a lot of the unfulfilled end times prophecies, but I will direct you to just the one argument I have written about on this site. Talking about how microchip technology for identification is on its way out. This is something I know about because I work in the security industry.

The Mark of the Beast – It’s here now!!

Futurists have a real problem now when it comes to Revelations 13:16-17 because no numbering system on the body will EVER need to be used for personal identification. And lets not even get into the absurdity of the notion that in this day and age, people will be executed by having their heads chopped off

Another thing to consider about Revelations 13:16-17 is that is states quite clearly that slaves will be expected to take the number too. This prophecy was obviously intended for a time in history where slavery was the norm. It's illegal all over the world now, so governments will not be asking or slave owners to bring their slaves in for numbering. And even if they did, no slave owners will comply as they'll be arrested straight away!

The whole prophecy is just total bunk! But that's just one failed prophecy...
