Golgotha Joe

(whose likeness is meant to be of the late artist who did the artwork of the original Bad Company strips)

First appears in "First Casualties".

Joe was a member of Bad Company before it became known as Bad Company but went AWOL.

He is a man attached to a machine able to manifest versions of himself in reality.* This allows Bad Company to have multiple Golgotha Joes fighting with them.

Later in the story, the manifestations turn on Bad Company so he breaks free from the machine. However the machine is also a life support system so it results in his death and the destruction of all but one of the multiple Golgotha Joes. The remaining  Joe gives some lame reason about Joe using his remaining power to let one of his manifestations survive. So he had transcended his maker.

Joe, along with his Bad Company mates, discovered the truth about how the Krool War started and when they tried to make it public, they were branded Terrorists by those trying to keep the truth hidden. They then set off on a mission to find proof of the conspiracy. Kano found the proof but kept it a secret so that Bad Company would remain together on a mission.

Joe remained in Bad Company. The last we saw he was continuing on their mission to find proof of the Ararat War Conspiracy.

*One of the mysteries in this story is how is it possible for Thrax, Kano, Flytrap and Mad Tommy to still be alive? Could it be that they too are manifestations?
