God is bloodthirsty

The truth of Christianity all hinges on the death of Jesus and the spilling of his blood to enable our sins to be cleansed and for us to be forgiven. Innocent blood must be spilt to enable God to forgive us. When you really think about it, that’s absolutely ludicrous and any rational person should immediately question why this should be the case. But generally, Christians take it on faith that’s its necessary and don’t see how primitive and barbaric it is. Surely an all-powerful god can forgive and cleanse someone of sin without the need for an innocent being to be slaughtered?

I discuss this in more detail here and show how Christ’s death was not necessary at all!:

Christ’s death - redundant
