Notes for GRAHAM DAVID GLASGOW:

David  and family with another family were on a boat when it blew up. David tried to go back to save the other people's baby when a piece of wood blown from the boat struck him on the head. Fay and children came to stay with Beulah and Jim following Christmas holidays. Children, Virginia and Lance had been burnt rather badly and needed skin grafts later.

My Memory of Aunty Fay

My main memory of her was staying for a week at her place in Waihi as a kid, hanging out with her youngest son, Shawn, watching the Whacky Races, going to the beach and sucking on koolpops.

My memories of Uncle David.

Uncle David was probably the nicest of all my uncles. He was always making us laugh and had a positive attitude. I particularly remember him on a Pukekohe radio station where he did a regular spot as Bombay Bill, an Indian guy, talking about how Australian cricketers have a bad underarm problem and should put a little curry under them. It would be too politically incorrect for this day and age!
